It was a bad bad experience. Our room had a serious bedbug problem and the staff didn't bother to inform us when we arrived. The bed-covers and pillows were infested. The worst part was the non-existent help of the person in the front desk. She was very rude with us, didn't help us to find another place even though it was 1am and refused to even call a taxi after we find a place ourselves.

Generally was fairly comfortable. Rooms were hot and noisy in the summer. 24/7 reception is in fact just a phone. No card machine, only accept cash. Rooms clean-ish but desperately needed as deep clean as did the kitchen, undesirable items down the side of the bed.

BEDBUGS in the room (we told the staff and it was like common business), quite unfriendly & unuseful staff (don't know their own cancelation politic...), dirty common area, no services at all... I know why it was so cheap now. We stay one night and left, paying for the full stay.Definetively not a place to go...

Bathrooms are okay, as I didn't expect much from hostels, but there are BED BUGS. At least 2 bed bugs managed to hide in my luggage and weren't discovered until I returned to New York, and emptied my luggage on concrete ground. Bed bugs are highly invasive and once it infest your home it's difficult to root out. Bed bugs are worse than cockroaches.

Other than those 2 problems, the rest of the hostels are quite fine.
