Food was decent but, as other posters have noted, they try to scam tourists to a degree. 6.4 euros for a bottle of sparkling water!!

I've never had a better Indian meal than at amar. My boyfriend and I went there several nights a week at one point. I get the Korma curry every time, it's THAT good. While this may not be a fully "authentic" Indian, we much prefer Amar to any of the "best" Indian food we've had- from England, India, to NYC. We always look forward to coming to Berlin because of amar!

I am Indian and I can tell you that this is not at all good or authentic Indian food, in fact it might be the worst Indian food I have ever had. Not an exaggeration. My German colleagues enjoyed their meal though so it's probably been adapted to local tastes. Service was friendly.
