Day 1 BKK – Luang Prabang- City Tour (D)
Pick up and welcome by our tour guide upon your arrive at LuangPrabang Airport. Transfer to Hotel for check in and refreshment.
First place to visit is the Royal Palace Museumand take an audio tour in your preferred language studying the history of Laos. Then proceed to see the most famous temple of LuangPrabang Wat Xieng Thong. Next place to visit is the Traditional Art & Ethnology Centre , where the ancient collection of textiles from 47 minority tribes have been restored. Learn about the 47 minorities living in Laos. Each tribe has an unique textile history, style and motive. Walk up the nearby Phousi Hill , the Landmark of the city for sunset watching. Return to your Hotel for rest & relax. Dinner at the………. Restaurant. Visit the night market for shopping.
Day 2 Tai Lue Cotton Village – Lao whisky Village (B/L/D)
Our Tour guide will pick you up after breakfast. We drive in a private minivan north of the city for 1 hours to Ban Had Kor, the Tai Lue village. Tai Lue is one of the 47 minorities living in Laos. They are famous for their cotton textile and dress. We will visit their cotton plantation; see how to process the cotton to be a dress. Spin, dye and weave your own cotton handkerchief or even a small scarf, if you prefer. Lunch at the local restaurant where it serve you 5 menus from Mekong fishes and Muang Ngoi freshwater shrimps while you enjoy the view of Mekong river right in front of you.
After Lunch, we will drive to Ban Xang Hai. This village is famous for Lao Rice wine and whisky. Visit a local distillation and meet the whisky maker, who will show you how sticky rice will be fermented and turned to be crystal clear high degree whisky and wine. Spend your time with them to learn and do work and not only to see and taste the variety of whiskies. Return to the city around 5. 00 p. m.

After Lunch, we will drive to Ban Had Hien. This village is famous for Blacksmith. The village was the Royal ordnance supplied swords and lances to the ancient Lao Army in the past. Now they just make simple tools and knifes. A blacksmith family will show you how iron will be formed and hammered with the local wisdom and simple instruments. Spend your time with them to learn and do work and not only to see and make a small Laotian knife for your own. Return to the city around 5. 00 p. m.
Day 3 Living Land Rice experience, Kwang Si Waterfall (B/L/D)
After breakfast you will go to the living land farm and change your cloth to be a Laotian farmer. Learn about Rice with the real farmers, who will share you their live-time experience about Rice and the related works from growing until processing to be the most important nutrient of 3 Billions peoples in the world. Join your hosts to work in the paddy field with buffaloes. Enjoy cooking Lao style lunch with your hosts and eat together in the paddy field.
After Lunch we will bring you to the famous Kwang Si Waterfall where one of the turquoise pools waiting you for swimming and washing all your sweat from the morning away, also see the Bears at the Bear Rescue Center. Arrive in LuangPrabang around 5. 00 p. m. Dinner is traditional LuangPrabang set menu with a traditional Dance performance at the Roots & Leaves Restaurant. Shopping at night market or opportunity for Lao massage.
Day 4 Morning Alms offering- Lao Pottery village – BKK (B/L)
Our Tour guide will pick you up early this morning to take a part on the morning Alms offering to the monks and see the colorful morning market before board a local fishing boat to Ban Jan, the pottery village. Take a part to do your own clay. Lunch with your host in the village before return to your hotel for take a shower and check out. Transfer to LuangPrabang Airport for depart to Bangkok.
