Absolutely fantastic place. Loses one star because of the poor instructions on how to use most of the interactive exhibits. Very reasonable and good cafeteria on the premises. Allow at least two to three hours.

Very good place for people in all ages that are interested in science. They have a huge variety of exceptions where you can learn a lot about each subject while playing. We spend 4-5 hours and had still not seen everything

On the whole, very nice. The bubble show was a little amateur but my children enjoyed it. Nice view. Parking around is possible. Just, the map they give you is useless and the directions are lousy, you always have to ask how to go somewhere.

One of the best place for kids in Malta! 3 and 6 yard old, they really enjoy the whole afternoon we spent there! Beautiful example of old building restoration. Well done!

A really fantastic experience all day. It is a must if you are in Malta with your kids. So much for children to interact with, playgrounds and information. Pay the additional €6 to visit the planetarium too... We saw a show about food chains and ecosystems rather than space which was fabulous.
We went on a weekday during the summer and there was hardly anyone there, which meant we could look at everything easily. The views of the grand harbour from Esplora are truly breathtaking and the only thing I can say is I wish we had more time. The day we went it closed at 4:00pm, even though we had been there for 5 hours we could have done with another hour or two. I believe on some days during the summer it does open later, so be wise and check on their website.
The building and exhibits have seen significant investment and it shows. Don't leave Malta without going there.
Please note: if travelling to Esplora by bus (number 3) the stop you get off at is the same stop to get back to Valletta (it was slightly confusing not to be on the opposite side of the road to go back).
