We had 24 people previously reserved to stay at the hotel. When we checked in after a long day of hiking no one had told the hotel staff we would be arriving. The front desk clerk apparently lost the dinner reservation as well and tried to double charge the rooms even though we had documentation of the prearranged reservation and payment. As far as customer service goes, I've had far better at least prestigious hotels who genuinely care about their guests. I feel like we tore a page out of Jacob Tomsky's book. The rooms were clean and save the front desk, the rest of the bar and restaurant staff were attentive and kind.

One of the best hotels I stayed in. Service is excellent. Staff very friendly especially Eileen and Maxine but in general staff everywhere around the hotel are very friendly. Facilities around the hotel are great from swimming pools to bars and restaurants everything just marvelous

Really enjoyed our stay here. Bedrooms were quiet at night, the pool wasn't too busy during the day as there wasn't a lot of children about. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The lifts were busy though, we found stairs but they were for staff rather than guests. Breakfast was ok with a decent choice. We went out to eat at night time but the evening buffets looked good.

This is a beautiful palatial grand hotel. Staff are very helpful and friendly ready to answer any questions. Location is quiet and a good uphill walk to local amenities. However luxury cars which are airconditioned are always ready for you. Rooms are spacious but if you are a non smoker you can smell smoke from the balcony when people have smoked on them leaving the doors open. Otherwise everything you need except body lotion which is always a nice touch. Being picky because it was a fantastic special experience.lotion arrived on our last day. So all in all a great hotel.

Rooms, leisure & layout areas certainly 5 star. Lounge and dining staff are, let's say "laid back". Not 5 or 4 star level. Self service/buffet breakfast excellent including porridge.Evening buffet o/k and a bit tired. Front face of building requires freshening up. Room prices are 5 star. On balance probably stay there again if we travel to Malta. 7.5 to 8 out 10.
