There are more and more fancy beer bars all around Kyiv with extensive beer lists - but if you are looking for an old-school beer drinking experience in a modest environment, this is the place for you. Bonus points if you want to eat a dried fish with you beer. Inexpensive and close to the metro as well.

Beyond any doubts, the most atmospheric pub in Kyiv. Great beer, great people, and a good old Jukebox keeps rocking!

A beer drinkers beer bar. No frills, no service, no food (wouldn't recommend anyway). Half-liter or liter only. Pick your own glass from the fridge and give to the barkeep. About 10+ on-tap plus 4 or so ciders. Ample chips and dried fish selection.

1/2 price Guinness on Thursdays, great tarankas (salted fish). Good beer selections.
My favorite bar in Kiev. Place is a little rough around the edges but I highly recommend it. Food from kitchen is also good. If you want fancy, don't go. If you want a great Ukie bar, this is the place.
