Great food, friendly helpful servers. Beautiful setting, play area lovely. Great outside adult area. All ages and needs catered for.

Last time we had just sitting with beer and lovely view. Yesterday it was dinner. BBQ Ribs and Chop Pork on bone for fair price. Waiters were attentive and quick. Clean toilets.

Can i just say a huge thank you for our lovely meal last night,food was lovely,thanks to all the staff for there fantastic service, we had a a great night,well worth a visit thanks again.xx

Board outside premises says 'Open for food' so we went in. There were no staff around so we saw an empty table and sat down. A few minutes later a man approached us and asked if he could help us with a tone of 'what are you doing here?' We looked at him startled and he asked if we had just walked in. We said we had, and he replied that he wasn't too sure and would have to check as they were rather busy in the kitchen. He went away and never returned. Another female member of staff walked past us 2 or 3 times ignoring us. We felt very unwelcome and the tone of this man was nothing but rude. We are visitors to Crieff and are staying for the week in the town and we're far from impressed. So after waiting another few minutes we got up and left. Nowhere outside the premises does it say to book first and we shall not be returning here. We walked further up the road to Avanti and were greeted warmly with a smile. This incident gave a very poor impression of The Tower and would have posted this zero star if there were such an option.

It's a solid 4.5 really. One of better executed pub food around in a friendly and relaxed surrounding.
Steak and ale pie is all encrusted and makes a wonderful crackling noise when you get into it. It's full of chunky pieces of beef and comes with some extra gravy for the pastry. Superb.
Cullen skunk was a wee too salty though.
The bar is cosy and dog friendly. Bonus
