Friendly staff (especially the night manager...maybe his name was Andrew? Very nice) and great location. The room was a little bit hot (I like my room pretty cold when I sleep so it's probably fine for most people) and the building was older than I expected, but overall good stay. No bugs or real problems. Breakfast was smaller than I expected too, but then again I paid a fraction of the cost I would have paid in a normal hotel, so I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for two weeks while moving to Baltimore! Great location, staff and fun activities with all the people visiting. The free breakfasts are a place to meet people and there's usually a dinner, tour, other cultural and athletic things on the calendar. Good common spaces too in a beautiful old building! Rooms are basic but clean and there are lockers to keep valuables. If you are traveling alone, why should you pay for a hotel and spend your trip lonely? Come to hi Baltimore!

A quirky building with a great vibe around the hostel inside it. The staff are really helpful, acting almost as local tour guides. For the size of the hostel it also offers quite a few events.
The rooms aren't spellbinding but they're what you should expect from a hostel.

This has been the best experience I have had sleeping outside of my home. I plan to come back next year and any time I travel here. Everything worked, the staff helped with ANY issues I had, and helped me with things that other hotels would never do. I was even taught by the Andrew on how make pancakes. I suggest this place to anyone who is coming to Baltimore (just please leave me a bed!)

For the price, it was great. But if someone is looking for more information of first hand experience... The neighbourhood did not seem tourist friendly at 3am (my flight was delayed) but the hostel itself was secure enough. The wooden bed bunks were not very easy to climb up/down on especially in dark. Bathroom was small but clean and no foul smell. Towels were very small. Blankets were good enough​for normal cold temperatures. Pillows were good as well. The staff is very friendly even at 3am. Kitchen is basic, had pancake mix...make your own pancakes. Overall i liked it.
