Starbucks

Can't get into Starbucks with my apartment. They had some suggestions which may be helpful.

I don't know why I keep going back to this Starbucks! I don't drink coffee, but I do like to indulge in a hot chocolate once in a while. I used to look forward to it, but lately it's so darn disappointing. Well, I ask for extra whipped cream and it rarely comes with it or the drink is so hot it melts almost immediately which is why I ask for extra so by the time I get it I can still enjoy it because let's face it the best thing about a hot chocolate is the mixture of cream and chocolate hitting your lips. Anyway, it also used to come with chocolate drizzle every time then that stopped! So I mentioned it to an employee one time and he said it should come with the drizzle, but sure enough the next visit it didn't have the drizzle even after I asked to make sure it had it! I just can not win with this Starbucks! The HC I got at my last visit failed miserably (virtually no whipped cream and basically tasteless, if there was chocolate it must have been on the bottom) and I was so tempted to take it back in and complain, but here I am writing this review instead.

Great staff, but coffee consistently tastes burnt. Thought it might be a one time thing but had repeatedly happened.

The parking lot access is really weird. The service was great, the environment was lovely, and coffee was delicious. I even made a new friend while sipping on my coffee. Thanks!

I moved to the West slope about a year ago, and I have been an almost daily Starbucks coffee drinker for several years. I have to say that the Starbucks in Grand Junction off of Highway 50 is probably one of the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. I can name about a handful of employees that are actually nice and pleasant to deal with the rest of them you usually get an eye roll. It takes forever to actually get your coffee, and I've noticed that three out of five times that I received my coffee it is watered down and taste burnt. All I'm trying to say here is if you're going to spend $5- $6 on a cup of coffee you should get it served with a smile and not tasting like it came out of the bottom of a Denny's overnight coffee pot.
