I purchased two Groupon for this business and twice I've showed up during their posted business hours and both times they was not open. Feeling ripped off and this is very unprofessional!

The fruit flies attacked us and our food. The margaritas we ordered tasted OK, but not like a margarita should. The server was so inattentive. She never offered anything or came by to see how we were doing. She didn't know the menu, and charged us extra for rice and beans that should have been included with the dinner. They screwed up the order and we had to wait while they replaced and recooked food. Our bill was over $80 and I felt like I had just went to taco bell. To top it off, EVERYONE in my house got sick. Even the baby, who only nibbled of my plate, had the runs.

This place is terrible! The food is just OK but expensive for what you get. We had no real servers, they had guests get up to help them out so we did not have good service at all. We got one drink the whole time we were here, no refills, it took an hour and a half to get our food, 30 minutes just for someone to take nm our order. I do not recommend this place

I give the restaurant ZERO Stars...First off we were seated in a no lit, what looks to be a half of a loveseat type table-which was smaller than a small booth at Waffle House. Then struggled to read the menu as there was a burnt out light above. Then after finally deciding to place my order the server informed me (after several several minutes) that they were or if what I order. She also informed us that there was only one cook on staff- who she presumed was "messing up every order" as she apologized for the delay. The cheese dip came out soft as normal and was good but within 2 minutes it became Lumpy and hard. We both order strawberry margaritas - which were good except they tasted quite like a strawberry protein shake from smoothie king.
The music is so loud I had to yell at my dinner date - I mean who wants to hear Aretha Franklin in the background at a Mexican restaurant, then the next song Baby got back, I mean really wheres the mariachi band?

This place is really, really good. My family loves Mexican, so we've been to every restaurant in town at least twice. This is definitely the best right now. The owner used to have a restaurant in Bel-Air Mall, but this place is even better than that one. It's a kind of hidden gem, too - it's never busy because no one knows about it. All in all, if you want Mexican in Mobile, eat here.
