This is excellent to check out and the price is reasonable. The ship is huge and takes a great deal of time to walk thru. There are some areas that have air conditioning available. We had visited in August and there were some places where it was so hot. This is a great place to come with the family and will certainly take an entire day. The gift shop was nice and the staff were helpful, especially with the large number of people.

Me and my children went to Christmas holiday Dec 2015 to this place .. We all love it excited to see it, was interested to learn all about it. If your in Mobile Alabama go and see it, it's worth the time and money .. I recommend it .. Be prepared, it is very hot inside most areas of the ship. If you around summer months , the time we when was December and was little hot ..There are a few areas that are air conditioned, but most are not. But hey it's worth it.. we did get to go the plane hanger and the submarine. I would suggest spending couple days at this park. So much to see at this park...

A great place to take kids if all ages. Very educational and fun to tour. Historical attractions like the USS Alabama should be visited by everyone at least once. While there you can also tour the USS Drum (a submarine) and see several aircraft. A worth while stop while in Mobile, Alabama.

You should go! It really makes you respect what our servicemen go through to protect our freedom. Plan on spending the day to really go through all the exhibits. Take water, bug spray and sunblock with you. It's a self guided tour, read the pamphlet they give you and follow it for the best experience. Well worth it. Bless our military and be thankful for the sacrifices they make for us. Thank you servicemen and veterans!

Great pieces of history. Prices aren't too bad, especially considering the level of care applied to the ship. My kids loved it.

Unfortunately there is a lot of rust damage and I wish there were some interactive displays for the kids to be able to learn and experience more. Everything is just a static display, so kids get bored quickly. It is a very large area to explore though, and the volunteers on the submarine are very helpful. All in all it is a very nice place to take the family and share some history.
