AMC Showplace Terre Haute 12

I'm not sure what happened to movies being shown later. Any time I try to catch a flick it has to be around 7 or 7:30 at the latest. That is pretty inconvenient for ppl who have things to do throughout the day let alone have the desire to do dinner then a movie, but here's what makes matters worse...
If u go at 7:30 they discontinue selling from the concession stand at 8. So dont bother buying anything that allows free refills cuz your wasting your money at that point. The way I see it, when a place is closed, that is when it's time to leave. That is when all sales should discontinue. I was told it's cuz closing takes so long... Well anywhere I've worked took some time to close but that's exactly what it's considered... CLOSING!

Aging terribly and no renovations since it was built. Watching the promo videos of alcoholic drinks and recliners being available rang nice and hollow when sitting it a seat with almost no cushion left.

It's a nice movie theater, but hard to find. The other AMC next door makes it a little confusing, but easily handled. We really liked that we didn't have to reserve seats ahead of time like so many other places.

Not at all happy. I go to theaters all over the country and this is by far the most expensive theater I have ever been to. The staff is friendly but the seats are dated and uncomfortable. Over $10 for a matinee and $15 for a medium soda and popcorn. We never come back here.

This Theatre is amazing! They have so many blockbuster hit movies to choose from every day. Their staff is friendly and helpful, and they keep the place very clean. I would have given a 5 star rating, but the prices are quite high for my taste.
