The owner/manager Helen was so accommodating for us. We came early, so she showed us the waiting area where they have several couches for lounging. When the room was ready, she helped bring our bags into the room, and so many other small helpful assists. The bed itself was comfortable, the stove/fridge/coffee maker all worked. The internet was a bit off, but I think that was the weekend of the public internet DNS attack. The floors were quite squeaky. If that drives you nuts, you might have to reconsider. Also, the nights we went, there was a party out back or something until late, but I had a triathlon race and had to wake up at 4am. It was annoying, but I must have just ignored them since I wasn't tired when I woke up. My wife also mentioned that for mid-day nappers, you might need your own sleep mask if the light bothers you. There's a sky window (not sure if that's what it is called) in the bedroom. It doesn't have any curtains over it, much less any you can control, so the room will be bright during the day. Also at night, there's some sort of security light nearby, so it never gets completely pitch black in the room.

i was just refused service for asking Jeff to split up a payment between cash and credit.... Buyer beware on any kind of voice contract from this gentleman.

The rooms are beautiful, very clean and well taken care of. The owner is very friendly, informative and made our time in Wilmington a real delight. He greeted us when we checked in and we immediately felt at home. Our entire stay was a pleasure and we definitely will stay here again the next time we are in Wilmington!
