Siem Reap - a small circuit (30km)
Our Guide will welcome you at the hotel to discuss the journey Cycling around AngkorWat. Cycle to Angkor checkpoints to purchase through. There you will begin to see Kravan temple, Banteay Kdei, and stop at the famous Ta Phrom, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. Visit Ta Phrom (45 minutes-1 hour). It was built in the 12th century by the famous King Jayavarvan VII indicated to his mother. While clearing back the forest archaeologists decided to leave the vegetation of Ta Phrom in place to serve as a reminder of how the original discovery found it and the other Angkor temples. Many trees have grown around and through the rest and soar high above the temples.
Cycling Around AngkorWat Tour Full Day
Continue Cycling through small circuit passing Ta Keo temple, Chao Say Tevoda, Tommanon before reaching to Angkor Thom city. There you will see, Leper King terrace, available with, Baphoun, Phimean Akas. Stop at Bayon temple and start the visit (45 minutes-1 hour). Angkor Thom was built by Cambodia's great king, Jayavarman VII. The eight-meter high wall surrounded the city ten square kilometers, surrounded by a moat. Famous Bayon, at the geographic center of Angkor Thom, the temple is a remarkable 54 tower. Initially the temple appears to be a block shape stone gray and brown, but it is only when you get closer you realize every tower faces of Avalokiteshvara carved on it.
Cycling Around AngkorWat Tour Full Day
After this visit, we cycle to AngkorWat to finish the small circuit. Stop at South Gate of Angkor Thom for taking pictures. Access via a causeway over the moat are two statues of gods and demons on the left side to the right. We enjoy biking on back roads on a large wall of Angkor Thom city. Then visit the magnificent 12th century AngkorWat. It is intuitive, architecture and spectacular art. AngkorWat is a large three-tiered pyramid crowned by five beehive like spiers rising from the ground 65 meters. Suryavarman II built - AngkorWat in great shape 'temple mountain' dedicated to the Hindu god, Vishnu. Return to hotel in Siem Reap . . . .
