My two daughters and I have had a great experience each time we've needed hair cuts, styles, treatments, product or advice since we started going to Visions about 10 years ago.
From quick tips on how to work with the girls' thick and naturally curly hair or my fine hair to special occasion updos, the stylists have provided professional quality service time after time.
They provide good conversation if you want and if you're looking for a quiet visit, they respect that, too.
All the stylists are good, except we have found you need to book well in advance if you want a particular person. Our schedule doesn't always allow us to book in advance. Because of that, we phone a day or two ahead and still get someone who has worked on our hair before.
All in all, they get 5/5 from us.

I have always been quite adventurous with my hairstyles; from short and trendy to retro and conservative. Rhoda and the wonderful staff at Visions Salon & Spa never cease to exceed my expectations regarding the quality of work, professionalism and care that I have received all throughout the ten plus years I have been a client. There is nothing like having a stylist and salon that I can trust. Plus, it always adds a little pizazz to my day when strangers are complimenting me on my fabulous hair!

They made me cry after I asked for a simple fix. But don't worry they made sure I came in when the salon was empty to make me cry. If anyone else was in the salon I'm sure they would have been as equally horrified as I am.
Salon manager is condescending, mean and does not listen to clients concerns. A good stylist can make a small mistake but it should never turn into berating a customer. My stylist was Rhoda and I couldn't remember what the salon managers name was.
The salon manager was AGGRESSIVE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE to me while my stylist stood there silent. She accused me of trying to get more for free and trying to cheat my stylist into doing extra work for free. I simply wanted maybe 4 or 5 more foils because my hair was uneven and she said that would be an extra charge AFTER ALREADY SPENDING $170. I don't know why it wasn't as simple as "I'm sorry your not happy we will add a few in for you."
It was mostly a one sided argument because I couldn't really get a word in. I was interrupted during every sentence, this lady was looking to fight with me. She said she could fix it for an additional cost, literally trying to cheat me out of more money. After looking I found more reviews of people having the EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE.
I was horrified that this argument even happened and more horrified that I had 2 women sit me down in the salon chair and proceed to make me cry over asking for a very simple fix. I have gone to my stylist for 7 years back in Calgary so I would have been a repeat customer but this was full on bullying.
Worst experience I have ever had. More of peoples exact same experience are on yelp.
