Large camping site with numbered parcels. It is at cycling distance from the inner city, using a bike path along the canal and through parks. It is a 'Knaus' camping site and Knaus being a caravan manufacturer, this is the type of vehicles (and people :-) it attracts. The site is large and impersonal. Still, the toilets are clean and the showers are warm, you could do worse. The restaurant closed in 2015. You can rent cabins.

Close to Leipzig. Simpel but really quite and nice/friendly camping. Recommend for people who like simple campings and don't want to stay in the city of Leipzig
