One of our favorite places in Munich for a beer and some really good Bavarian food. Prices are good, food is delicious. Staff are really... authentic (I mean, don't expect them to be really really friendly, but they are nice, and - more importantly - really efficient). Would highly recommend!

Solid neighborhood spot for Bavarian classics, with a little Biergarten to enjoy in good weather. The food isn't necessarily outstanding (and the service can be gruff) but it's consistently good, and utterly satisfying when you're craving comfort food. As a bonus, the interior is big enough that, despite Jagdschlössl's popularity, you generally don't have to worry about finding a spot. Prost!

Very inflexible in regards to customer wishes (NOT the fault of the service staff):
No sausages between 1pm and 3pm on holidays - why would that be? On non-holidays sausages are available...?!?
Tried to exchange a side dish (mashed potatoes) for something else, chips, rice, another form of potatoes - bluntly rejected. Had to choose another dish then..
Prices ok, food is alright and service not unfriendly - therefore 2 stars and not only 1.

They are relatively cheap for the size of the meal you get. There is always a lot of meat, and everything is tasty! They make sure it is exactly how you want it after they bring the plate to you.
