The most rude staff you can ever see. Pathetic service...and few options...went to have local food but was disappointed.

Didn't stay at the hotel but the connected restaurant was delicious and had great beer.

It was raining cats and dogs when we arrived for dinner. The server welcomed us and told us to sit where we liked. The atmosphere was incredible, the old wood walls and maps and pictures created a real experience. At any time I thought a medieval lord would walk through the large wood door and ask for meat and mead. The food is served on metal plates and is very tasty. I ordered the appetizer of brats and sauerkraut, which with the mustard was very good. For the main course I ordered the Pork shoulder, for which the establishment is named. It was pretty fatty, but the cut of meat under the fat was soft and juicy. All around it was a solid German experience.
