Room was nice, bed à bit too hard. Free wifi was fast enough, mostly French TV channels on TV.

Beds were horrible. You sink through the spring matress making you feel the hard metal part of the bed, the pillow becomes hard as a rock once you put your head on it and it was too short for my legs (I'm like 178 cm.)

Room was very old but spacious. Didn't have air conditioning so it was hot in the room without opening the windows. The walls are thin as I heard voices from other rooms at night.

For the price range is the best option in a really good location. The attenders and staffs are amazing, very kindly. The rooms are not good, but at least it was clean.

The best thing about the hotel is, that it's in central Geneva and a quick walk from the lake and train station.
Judging by the room we stayed in and the other accessible areas this hotel doesn't deserve to call itself "Hotel Moderne". I'd rather call it "Hotel Old". The furniture looks like it's from the 80's and has clearly seen better days. However because it's old it has a high ceiling and I quit like that.
The soundproofing inside as well to the outside (street) is really bad. We would hear people screaming outside at night as well as people getting up in the morning. Getting up in the Morning we found that there is Mold in the shower (I added the pictures).
We also did not like that they only provide a very thin blanked, however your preference may vary.

We did not have a lot of interactions with the staff but for the little we had they were friendly.

All in all I'd say if you want to stay close to the train station choose one of the other hotels in close proximity.
