We love the Capital Grille. I am glad it is a chain, I feel very comfortable eating at one when I am travelling, knowing I will be in for a night of outstanding food and service. We have eaten at this location more than any other. It is hard to not rate this place 5 stars, everything is done just about perfectly. I usually always get steak here, and it never disappoints. The wine selection is excellent, the atmosphere is outstanding, and the service is professional and unobtrusive.

The idiots that rate this place and say it is too expensive... Its a high-end restaurant, not a Beef O Brady's. DO NOT go here if you are cheap or not into high-end dining! More often than not, when my family and I leave here, our bill will be $600+. However, the food itself is beyond worth the price. The quality of service and the portions are out of this world.
Hands down this is a place I'd bring a date, business partner/prospect/client/etc... Expect sit back dining, don't expect to be able to rush, because if you do, you've done yourself a great injustice.

Yetar was our server and I would recommend him to anyone. He made my first experience at Capital Grill un forgettable. This restaurant made us feel like family. It was a birthday celebration for my son and they welcomed him with grace and tact. A simple card and table confetti without all the clapping and singing that you get at other places. It was a splendid night for everyone. Thank you for a great evening. Can't wait to come back.

My wife and I have eaten at many well known and not so well known upscale steakhouses. The Capital Grille in Tampa is now our number one choice. The atmosphere, the wait staff and at the end the management stopped by to chat. What a lovely experience! The steaks were cooked perfect to order. Very tender cuts of filet for both. The veggies came family style which was an option we chose (because boring as we are we ordered the exact same veggies).
I would recommend this place for pleasure or business. The only possible improvement would be the acoustics. It's a little loud when you have chatty tables around you. But not sure with the lovely architecture that could've been accomplished. It's a keeper in our future travels!

A beautiful location! Very good service and the steaks are delicious! The place we were sitting at was a little tight for a party of 6. But, delicious food and dessert. I would recommend people to visit here for dinner or family gathering. The prices are decent and not too expensive.
