Most people know AbuGosh restaurants on the other side of the road to JLM, and that's good - it keeps the crowd away from Majda. This unexpected gem in the garden is fascinating. Great traditional food with a twist. A tasty twist that upgrades traditional dishes to different level. Enjoyable plus plus.

Good food. Some of it even grate (the Lamb), however portions are too pricey and undersized.

Restaurant is in the middle of a beautiful valley surrounded by the hoses of the village but still with an open view to the nature and the beautiful hills of the Jerusalem mountain area. The place has an atmosphere reminding of a small tavern, beautiful outdoors sitting area. Service is great and on the higher end in Israeli standards. Food is simple but well made, entrés are better than main courses in my opinion, and all dishes are slightly overpriced, so is the alcohol, which is really good and local but still 28 nis for a small bottle of beer and 38 nis for a glass of wine is, in my opinion a little too much.

One of the best boutique restaurants in Israel. Just go there, don't ask questions. Bear in mind it's open on weekends only.
