The museum is large and has nice paintings and sculptures, but mostly religious pieces. Don't let the name fool you though, the oldest piece was from the 12th century, while most are 17th - 18th (80% of the pieces) and even 19th century. The 3rd star is for the nice garden and terrace.

Stunning permanent exhibition with Bosch, Durer and de Breugheon show. Temporary exhibition of images of the Virgin Mary was absorbing and beautifully curated.

Great place. The museum is very interesting and well organized. The staff is very welcoming. Has a good cafeteria, with a pleasent garden with an impressive view over the river.
